The Winery
Navarra, a land of great wines
There are few areas in the world that can boast a winemaking tradition like ours. Here, for centuries, the Wines from our land have been lovingly made and aged, generation after generation. Today, thousands of hectares of vines continue an age-old tradition. Navarra, a land as diverse and bounteous as our Wines, is the gateway through which the European routes of the Way of St James pass and come together. The Way allows pilgrims to enjoy a landscape dotted with fertile vineyards right up to Pamplona, the capital city of the Old Kingdom. Each year, on the 7th July, this beautiful, peaceful city, full of history and culture, decks itself out to celebrate the world-renowned festival of San Fermín. It is precisely here, in Pamplona, where Bodegas Artajona is based.
Bodegas Artajona
Our Winery
Bodegas Artajona started out in 1957 when the Pérez de Ciriza family moved from its home town of Artajona to Pamplona, where it opened its first Winery.
From that moment onwards, quality and service were the foundations on which the family business project was built.
In 2002, once solidly established in the regional market and with three generations dedicated to the world of winemaking, Bodegas Artajona inaugurated some state-of-the-art facilities covering more than 3,000 m2 and commenced an expansion process towards new markets. Its objective was clear: to cater for the most demanding palates with wines of the highest quality.
